Hello everyone! It’s me again. I found travelling in England, especially London, really safe but you should always be street smart and be careful. You should always be aware of the route you are taking in London. If you are taking the underground, make sure that you know the route you are taking to avoid getting lost. You should only use taxis that have serial numbers.
You should avoid walking at night in roads that aren’t well-lit alone. If you are planning to rent a car, you should know that cars drive on the left side in the United Kingdom.
Keep in mind that the driving fines in London are very high and you might face serious problems with the law. Even though the locals in London are very friendly most of the time, you shouldn’t accept any drinks from people you don’t know. If you are travelling with a friend or family member and you are both planning to drink, make sure that you both have phone numbers in case you get lost in a nightclub or somewhere similar.
Try as much as possible not to carry a lot of cash with you and make sure your wallet is somewhere safe. London is just like any other major city in the world and you will find thieves there as well. The reason why I’m sharing these tips with you is not to scare you, but because I care about you as my readers and I want to make sure that you’re always safe.

One of the things I absolutely loved in London was the festivals. The best thing about London is there always an event going on no matter what month you are visiting. London’s New Year’s Parade first began during 1987 and was able to raise millions of pounds to several charities that are based in London. The parade involves thousands of performers from twenty countries. It is believed that more than 300 million viewers watch the parade on TV every year. Men in suits and girls in tiny dresses - usually accompanied by hair extensions.
London Art Fair features everything from contemporary work to British art. The fair taken place in the Financial Design Centre and there are more than 100 different galleries you can choose from. Chinese New Year is one of the most important festivals in the Chinese community and it features everything from fireworks to parades. You will also find market stalls that sell amazing Chinese food. The idea of the parade is representing the twelve animals from the Chinese horoscope.
Valentine’s Day is one of the most important days in February and there are various ways you can spend it in London with your loved one such as going to one of London’s fancy restaurants or taking a cruise along Thames River. Fashion week is the perfect event for fashion lovers and you might get lucky and get a glimpse of some of the famous designers.
People come from all over the world just to attend London fashion week so make sure that you book early if you are planning to stay in one of the luxurious hotels. Even though it might get quite difficult to find tickets for fashion show for Dior or Chanel, you might be able to find tickets for smaller shows. I would suggest that you purchase your tickets early if you want to attend any of these festivals.

There are various cafes and bars there is you want to take a break from your shopping trip. Knightsbridge is the place to go if you are looking for Harrods and Harvey Nichols. These are two stores that will definitely take you more than a day to visit and you will find everything from affordable to designer clothes. King road is located between Hampton Palace and Whitehall. This is the place to go is you are looking for punk fashion and stores such as Vivienne Westwood.
There are also some regular stores there such as Gap along with some vintage stores. One of the most popular stores is Jo Malone which is the best skincare store in London. Regent Street is the place to go to shop for simply anything.
You will find stores there that sell everything from fabrics to food. This is also the place to go if you want to purchase toys or games for children. Even though London has the best shopping streets and stores in the world, there are some unknown shopping areas that sell impressive and interesting merchandise. Have you been shopping in London before?
One of the things I absolutely loved about London is how diverse and outstanding their shopping stores are. I have to admit that there was a strong possibility that I was going to go completely broke there.
Camden Town is London’s number one destination for market and second hand clothes stall. It is also the place where most London fashion designers and lovers purchase their clothes from.
